Sunshine Inn, Twillingate & Beyond Inc.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Inn place! The home was incredibly cozy and comfortable, making our trip even more enjoyable. Despite an issue with the booking dates, Cathy was so accommodating and kind, ensuring we had a great experience. We truly appreciate the hospitality and would highly recommend this place to our friends. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We had a very relaxing night stay here mid- October. As luck had it, we were the only ones staying there, so we had the whole place to ourselves! We bought groceries to cook dinner and breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen, which has the loveliest views! Definitely bring a bathing suit to soak in the hot tub- that was so nice! The bed was large and comfortable in the Captain's Quarters, we would recommend that room. It was windy enough to warrant ear plugs to sleep, but those are provided. Would certainly visit again!

Perfect location and wonderful amenities! Hot tub, kitchen, living room, etc. Really lovely property that has been tastefully updated. Missing a star because there were a lack of communications overall about how to check in, what was available in the kitchen and how to use certain amenities. The provided continental breakfast was also not very good - but the tea/coffee/fruit was nice! Also, the front door slams shut and was a little bit of a disturbance to us. Otherwise, could barely hear other guests.

This was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights while we explored the area. The rooms are very roomy and the beds comfortable. They have a huge common area giving you access to kitchen and a comfortable living area. Coffee and tea also provided. Also enjoyed sitting outside. You can also use their large hot tub. It is located in the centre of town, so easy walking to shopping and pubs.

We had the pleasure of staying in the Bow Room at the Sunshine Inn. The host made the check in instructions very clear and we had no issues. The inn was centrally located in Twillingate. The inn offered a hot tub, laundry machines, and a self-serve breakfast. Our one night stay was nothing short of amazing, we'd highly recommend staying here!

This is a really special place, even in the offseason - in late October there’s not much open in Twillingate, but I enjoyed my stay here so much it didn’t matter. The deck and hot tub overlooking the harbour are perfect. Having a full shared kitchen if you want to cook meals is great, and the coffee and tea bar were well stocked. The room itself was cozy and comfortable. I’m only sad I didn’t get to visit the artisan market because it was closed during my stay! I would love to come back here.

One of the best accommodations for us in Newfoundland. It was a clean, modern, well equipped house with rooms on the 2nd floor and I believe there was a room also on the ground level. Highlights for me were the large picture windows from the front to the back so natural light streams through, great views even from my room, a kitchen that had everything you would ever need and more if you decided to eat in, with good utensils and kitchen items you would have at home and not some cheap kitchenware like other accommodations, the way everything was organized for people to keep their food, the breakfast items, everything about it was simply amazing. Even the rooms were well designed in a Newfoundland way, charming yet modern. It reflects the owner’s taste, attitude and personality. They even had a small pot of parsley with a note: Snip away. So endearing and charming. All these little touches of hospitality did not go unnoticed. The owners obviously know how to host and we, as guests, felt like we were stepping into their home as friends where there was a lot of respect and warmth toward us. I can say a lot more good things about Sunshine Inn but it would be 5 pages long. I can only recommend this place highly. If I ever return to Newfoundland, I will stay at this place longer. I absolutely love this place!

We stayed at the Sunshine Inn from June 17-20, 2023. Such a great place to stay. Beautiful large communal kitchen with food available to cook for breakfast. Bring your own food to cook at dinner time. Laundry room is available to use for a donation. Large deck on the water. Lots of parking. BBQ available. Hot tub on site was wonderful. Staff were very friendly. Great coffee shop next door with local crafts and artwork available to purchase. Anything you need is within walking distance. We will be back! Thanks for all your hard work to make this a beautiful friendly place to stay.
